
Restaurant Weeks History
Culinaria first implemented Restaurant Weeks in San Antonio in August 2010. It was an opportunity to promote the San Antonio restaurants during a slower time of the year. The program started with the three-course menu format and special pricing and has found great success through the years, eventually adding January (at the request of restaurants and guests) to the line-up of programs. During the challenges of 2020, Culinaria once again initiated assistance for the restaurants and facilitated Restaurant Weeks To-Go, allowing restaurants to continue service by following guidelines and still serving the patrons.
Since the beginning, the model for Restaurant Weeks proves to be successful and brings communities together through food. Whether guests are exploring new restaurants or visiting old favorites, dining together and supporting local restaurants is something we all look forward to.

Our Mission
Culinaria is an independent, not-for-profit organization, committed to promoting San Antonio as a premier food and wine destination. Since 2000, Culinaria has been promoting
locally sourced food and wine experiences in the through community events and culinary education opportunities, while fostering community growth and enrichment. Proceeds from events directly support this mission, enabling Culinaria to be a largely self-sustaining organization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Restaurant Weeks is a two-week celebration of dining that takes place in January and August. Participating restaurants offer three-course prix-fixe menus at special pricing.
To participate, restaurants sign-up online on this page and commit to the terms and conditions, including a donation per guest served. The details and more information can be found on the Sign-Up page or by contacting Culinaria at info@culinariasa.org.
To participate in Restaurant Weeks, visit the list of participating restaurants (and their menus, when available) and make a reservation, if applicable. When you arrive for dining, make sure to ask for the Restaurant Weeks' menu if it's not presented when you are seated.
Prices range from $20 and $30, three-course lunches to $35, $45 and $55 dinners, depending on the restaurants price selection.
Restaurant Weeks will take place January 18 through February 1, 2025 and again in August.
